We’re pleased to confirm that Defibrillator Installation No. 58 is now live at The Eastfield Pub on Henleaze Road, installed on 5th March 2026.
This installation was made possible through a generous local donation, alongside the support of the pub team, who were quick to facilitate access and secure approval. It’s always encouraging when local businesses are willing to support life-saving initiatives like this!
The defibrillator was installed and registered on The Circuit (the national 999 system) on the same day, ensuring it is immediately visible and accessible to emergency services.
Positioned at the front of the pub, with direct access from the large car park, the unit is easy to reach and well placed to serve both the venue and the surrounding area. Accessibility is key in an emergency, and this location offers exactly that.
As with many installations, while the final result looks straightforward, there is always a significant amount of coordination behind the scenes - from securing funding and identifying suitable locations, to managing approvals and getting the unit live on the system.
This was a smooth and positive collaboration, and it’s great to see another strong, practical site now covered.
We’ll continue working to fill remaining gaps across Bristol. If you’re aware of a location that could benefit from a publicly accessible defibrillator, we’d always welcome the conversation.
