Last week, Simon had the pleasure of returning to the Greek Orthodox Church and community centre, where he led a CPR and defibrillator training session. This follows the successful installation of a defibrillator at the church in July of this year, part of the ongoing effort to ensure Bristol's community spaces are equipped with life-saving devices.

The group was eager to learn and actively engaged in the hands-on training, where Simon demonstrated how to perform CPR and properly use an automated external defibrillator (AED). It was inspiring to see such a strong turnout from the community, with attendees keen to gain the skills and confidence needed to respond in a medical emergency.

Simon extends his heartfelt thanks to the Greek Orthodox Church for their continued support and generous donation. It’s community-driven efforts like these that truly make a difference, helping to ensure safety and preparedness across Bristol.

Looking ahead, Simon is excited to announce plans for more sessions with the church, aimed at training even more members of the local community. These ongoing workshops will continue to empower people with the knowledge they need to act quickly and potentially save lives.
