Simon and Martyn, members of the Heartstarters organisation, visited the Bear and Rugged Staff pub in Southmead on Wednesday to provide free CPR and Defibrillator training.
The pub is fundraising to install a 24-hour Community Public Access Defibrillator, which will be the third of its kind in the area. The other two are located at Avon Fire & Rescue on Southmead Road and The Treble Chance on Greystoke Avenue. Both have been called upon since installation.
Many thanks to the Bear and Rugged Staff pub for providing us with a space to host our training session, allowing us to teach more members of the public how to perform lifesaving CPR and Defibrillator techniques.
