Walkers and Talkers Group Fund a Second Defibrillator Following CPR Training

Today, a potentially lifesaving defibrillator has 'gone live' outside the Hartcliffe Community Centre. This is thanks to an incredibly generous donation from our local Walkers and Talkers group.

This is actually the second defibrillator the Walkers and Talkers have donated to the community. It's placed in an excellent location considering the next nearest defibrillator was far away. The community centre is centrally situated and covers a huge catchment of local homes in the neighbourhood.

Simon would like to Thank the Walkers and Talkers, and especially member Andy Brassington who spearheaded this effort. Providing this type of equipment can truly make the difference between life and death in an emergency situation.

The local community was extremely supportive of the project as well. It just goes to show what we can accomplish when local groups and the residents come together for an important cause.

So if you're passing by the community centre, be sure to check out the new addition!
