Simon's Work Highlighted in Bishopston Matters

We are thrilled to share that Simon Brookes, the driving force behind Defibs4Bristol, has been featured in the latest edition of Bishopston Matters.

The article showcases Simon's relentless efforts to install publicly accessible automated external defibrillators (AEDs) across Bristol.

Simon, a former Community First Responder for South Western Ambulance Service Trust, has facilitated the installation of 42 AEDs to date. His mission is to ensure that no one in Bristol is more than 3-5 minutes away from a potentially life-saving defibrillator.

Recent installations include defibrillators at The Gloucester Old Spot, The Memorial Ground, and St Matthew's Church in Cotham. Additionally, a new AED on Julian Road, close to The Downs, was operational within a month of its installation.

We are deeply grateful to Bishopston Matters for spotlighting Simon's invaluable work and the Defibs 4 Bristol initiative. The article not only highlights Simon's dedication but also provides information on the locations of AEDs and guidelines on what to do in case of cardiac arrest.
